In addition to his JD, Stuart earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Fairfield University, where he was awarded the H.W. Wilson Fellowship, and served as the Editor in Chief of CausewayLit, the MFA program's online literary journal. He uses his MFA to try and master the semicolon. And characterization. But mainly the semicolon.
